Fidato Evtech EasyGo Plus: a budget electric scooter built for short city runs
The EasyGo Plus sits at the top of Fidato Evtech's small India line-up and pairs an unusually long equipment list with a modest powertrain. Ghaziabad-based Fidato Evtech has sold electric two-wheelers since 2019, and this model is aimed squarely at daily errands and commutes rather than highway work.
Motor, battery and claimed range
A 250 W BLDC hub motor drives the scooter, with a 40 km/h top speed that keeps it in city territory. Power comes from a 1.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP pack (60 V, 30 Ah) that charges from empty in about four to five hours on a regular home charger; there is no fast-charging option. Claimed range varies by source - the OEM brochure quotes 70-90 km per charge while ZigWheels lists an 80-110 km claim - so treat real-world figures as lower, particularly with a pillion or in stop-go traffic.
Features you notice
Full LED lighting - headlamp, tail lamp and indicators Digital instrument console with trip meter and low-battery alert USB charging port, anti-theft alarm, central locking and push-button start Underseat storage plus a carry hook for bagsBrakes, suspension and dimensions
Stopping duty falls to disc brakes at both ends linked by a combined braking system; there is no ABS. Hydraulic suspension at the front and rear handles broken roads, and tubeless 90/90-12 tyres sit on alloy wheels. The scooter measures 1920 mm long, 690 mm wide and 1130 mm tall, carries up to 200 kg, and comes in White, Blue and Black.
Price and ownership costs
The single STD variant is listed here at Rs 1,00,555 ex-showroom, and running costs stay low because a full charge draws roughly three units of electricity. The battery carries a 3-year or 20,000 km warranty. The main caveat before booking is service coverage: the network is around 35 dealers across 29 cities, so check the nearest one first.
