BGauss C12i

The BGauss C12i is an electric scooter offered in a single variant, positioned as an accessible city commuter. It is priced at Rs. 1,20,000 (ex-showroom).

Performance and range

Power comes from a PMSM hub motor rated at 1500 W with a peak output of 2500 W. The scooter tops out at 60 kmph and uses a 3.2 kWh VRLA battery that BGauss claims delivers a 135 km range per full charge. A full charge takes around 7 hours using the portable charger. Two riding modes, Eco and Sport, let owners balance efficiency and response.

Chassis and features

The C12i rides on 12-inch steel wheels with telescopic forks up front and twin adjustable rear springs. Stopping power comes from drum brakes on both wheels with combined braking (CBS). It keeps a 774 mm seat height and 155 mm of ground clearance, with a kerb weight of 110 kg. The battery and motor both carry a 3-year warranty.
