BGauss BG RUV 350

The BGauss BG RUV 350 is an electric scooter aimed at everyday city commuting. It is priced at Rs. 1,19,990 (ex-showroom) and is positioned as a premium everyday commuter, riding on a tubular chassis with 16-inch alloy wheels.

Performance and range

Power comes from a PMSM hub motor with a rated output of 1500 W and a peak output of 3000 W, producing 110 Nm of torque. The scooter tops out at 60 kmph and draws from a 3.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, with BGauss claiming a 115 km range per charge. A full charge takes roughly 5.5 hours with the portable charger. Three riding modes, Eco, Sport and Reverse, let the rider balance efficiency and response.

Chassis and features

The BG RUV 350 rides on hydraulic telescopic forks up front and a double hydraulic, 3-step adjustable rear spring. Stopping comes from drum brakes on both wheels with combined braking (CBS). It keeps a 765 mm seat height, 175 mm of ground clearance and a 109 kg kerb weight. The battery and motor both carry a 3-year warranty.
