VariantsThe Ather 450X is a premium electric scooter built around a 2.9 kWh Li-ion battery and a 6.4 kW (~8.6 bhp) PMSM hub motor, positioned as Ather's flagship performance scooter.
A single 2.9 kWh Li-ion pack delivers a claimed IDC range of 126 km on the standard variants and 161 km on the higher-capacity variants.
The hub motor produces 26 Nm of torque with a top speed of 90 km/h, paired with regenerative braking and cruise control. Ride quality leans firm and sporty rather than plush.
A full charge takes about 4.5 hours (270 minutes) on the standard charger; DC fast charging brings it to 80% in around 3 hours.
A 7-inch TFT touchscreen runs Google Maps navigation and OTA updates over a Snapdragon 212 processor, with disc brakes front and rear. Underseat storage is limited once the portable charger is stowed, and Google Maps/AutoHold require a separate Pro Pack subscription (Rs 17,000-20,000).
