VinFast VF MPV 7

The VinFast VF 7 (listed on EVSoch as VF MPV 7) is a full-electric 7-seater MPV built on VinFast's global EV platform, aimed at families who want SUV-like space with zero tailpipe emissions.

Design and build

Styling is clean and non-controversial, with a simple, uncluttered silhouette and top-notch fit and finish rather than aggressive character lines. It comes in six exterior shades — Jet Black, Infinity Blanc, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, Moonlit Ocean and Introspective Brown.

Interior and practicality

Cabin length and a 2,840mm wheelbase give all three rows usable space, with a 126-litre boot behind the third row. A 10.1-inch touchscreen anchors the dashboard, though the driver relies on a heads-up display rather than a separate digital instrument cluster.

Powertrain, range and charging

A single FWD motor produces 201bhp and 280Nm, paired with a 60.13kWh battery rated for up to 517km of range. 0-100km/h comes up in about 10 seconds and top speed is 140km/h. DC fast charging tops up 10-70% in roughly 30 minutes.

Safety and pricing

Four airbags come standard. Ex-showroom pricing starts at Rs 24.49 lakh, with on-road prices varying by city due to state-level RTO and subsidy differences.
