VinFast VF 7

The VinFast VF 7 is a fully electric 5-seater SUV and the Vietnamese automaker's debut model for India, launched in September 2025. It is offered in five trims - Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity - priced from Rs 22.99 lakh to Rs 28.09 lakh (ex-showroom), with both front- and all-wheel-drive layouts.

Range and battery

The Earth uses a 59.6 kWh battery with a claimed range of 438 km. The 70 kWh Wind variants claim 532 km in front-wheel drive, while the dual-motor 70 kWh Sky variants claim 510 km in all-wheel drive. AC charging takes about 480 minutes (8 hours) through the included 7.2 kW charger, and DC fast charging takes the battery from 10 to 70 percent in 24 minutes on the Earth (100 kW) and 28 minutes on the 70 kWh variants (110 kW).

Performance

The Earth produces 174 bhp and 250 Nm, the Wind 201 bhp and 310 Nm, and the Sky 349 bhp and 500 Nm. The all-wheel-drive Sky hits 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, the Wind in 9.5 seconds and the Earth in 10.38 seconds. Top speed is rated at 200 km/h, with Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes and regenerative braking as standard.

Features, safety and practicality

Standard kit includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen, coloured head-up display, 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 537-litre boot and a panoramic sunroof. Safety is covered by 7 airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. The battery carries a 10-year / 200,000 km warranty with a 5-year vehicle warranty, and the VF 7 measures 4550 mm long on a 2840 mm wheelbase with 190 mm of ground clearance.
