Range and charging
The R3 is certified for 200 km on a single charge and fills from empty in about 3 hours through its Type 2 AC port. There is no DC fast-charging option, so it is designed for overnight home or office top-ups rather than highway charging stops.
Performance and driving
The rear-wheel-drive motor produces 20.11 bhp and 90 Nm with three drive modes and regenerative braking, tuned for stop-start city traffic. A kerb weight of just 550 kg, an 185 mm ground clearance and a compact 2907 mm length make it nimble in dense urban conditions.
Practicality and features
Two seats and a 300-litre boot cover solo commutes and small weekly errands. Standard kit includes a 7-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, power windows, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a rear parking camera and front and rear parking sensors. Four roof-colour combinations are offered.
Who should buy it
Solo commuters and couples who want a tiny, cheap-to-run, fully electric city car and can charge at home. It is not for families or highway users: the 80 km/h top speed, two-seat layout and AC-only charging rule those out. The battery is covered for 3 years or 100,000 km.
