The Mahindra BE 07 (concept name BE.07, internally codenamed B07) is the upcoming second model in Mahindra's BE born-electric sub-brand, sharing the INGLO platform with the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S. Mahindra confirmed in its Q3 FY26 earnings call that the production version will launch in 2027, so this is a car to wait for rather than one on sale today.
Design and positioning
Spy-shots from March-July 2026 reveal a more traditional, upright ~4.6-metre 5-seater SUV, larger than the BE 6, with frameless doors, flush door handles, front parking sensors and projector headlamps. Its upright silhouette suggests Mahindra is positioning it as the family-friendly member of the BE line-up, competing in the premium electric SUV segment.
Expected features and powertrain
Expected features mirror the INGLO family: triple or dash-spanning screens, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, a head-up display, ventilated seats, six airbags and Type-C ports. Battery packs are expected to mirror the 59-79 kWh options used across the family, though no official range, motor or charging figures have been announced yet.
Who should wait for it
The BE 07 is aimed at families who want a spacious electric SUV with the technology Mahindra is building into its BE range. If you need an EV before 2027, the BE 6 and XEV 9e are already on sale; if you can wait, the BE 07 promises a larger, more traditional SUV footprint on the same platform.
