Hyundai IONIQ 5

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is Hyundai's flagship electric SUV in India, built on the dedicated E-GMP platform and offered in a single fully-loaded Long Range RWD variant priced at Rs 55.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2026 update brings a larger 84 kWh battery, a refreshed exterior, an all-black cabin and more feature content.

Battery, Range & Charging

The 84 kWh lithium-ion pack delivers an ARAI/MIDC-claimed range of 690 km on a single charge. It supports 350 kW DC fast charging, topping up from 10-80% in 18 minutes, and a full 10-100% charge takes 7 hours 35 minutes on the supplied 11 kW AC wallbox.

Performance & Driving

A rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor produces 225 bhp and 350 Nm, driving the rear wheels for a 0-100 km/h sprint of 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 185 km/h. Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes with regenerative braking let you tune the response to your route.

At 4655 mm long, 1890 mm wide and 1625 mm tall on a 3000 mm wheelbase, the IONIQ 5 seats five with a flat, spacious cabin floor and a 584-litre boot plus a front storage frunk. Dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof and Hyundai Bluelink connected-car features are standard.
