YC Electric Yatri

The YC Electric Yatri is a battery-operated passenger e-rickshaw for short city runs. It offers D+4 seating, a 90 km claimed range and a compact footprint, making it a low-cost daily option for last-mile operators in Indian towns.

Passenger Layout and Comfort

The Yatri seats the driver plus up to four passengers on standard seats inside a fully built cabin. A 1668 mm wheelbase and MacPherson strut front suspension keep the ride stable on uneven roads.

Electric Powertrain

A 2 hp BLDC motor drives the Yatri, with a claimed range of up to 90 km on a full charge. The automatic transmission with a 1-forward 1-reverse gearbox keeps operation simple.

Charging and Running Costs

The battery takes about 5-7 hours to charge fully using the standard home charger. A 693 kg gross weight and low per-kilometre running cost make it economical for daily passenger ferrying.

Chassis and Braking

A chassis-with-cabin body with drum brakes and a 7 per cent gradeability handles city slopes and narrow lanes with ease.
