Udaan Pro

The Udaan Pro (also listed as the Udaan Battery Operated E-Rickshaw) is a passenger e-rickshaw designed for rural, urban and semi-urban last-mile connectivity across India. It is sold as a single chassis-with-cabin configuration at a starting price of ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Powertrain and performance

The Udaan Pro runs on a 1000W water-resistant motor with a 48V controller, backed by a 24 Ah battery pack. TrucksDekho quotes a range of up to 125 km on a full charge (75–125 km in real-world city duty), a top speed of 25 km/h and a charging time of 4–5 hours.

Dimensions and build

The e-rickshaw measures 2790 mm long, 995 mm wide and 1782 mm tall, with a 2350 mm wheelbase and 170 mm ground clearance. Kerb weight is 214 kg against a 600 kg GVW, giving it a practical payload for passenger runs.

Comfort and features

It seats a driver plus four passengers (D+4). Suspension is telescopic dual-spring at the front and leaf-spring at the rear, with drum brakes and a parking brake for everyday stops. The cabin gets a driver information display and an anti-corrosive body as standard.

Who is it for

The Udaan Pro targets e-rickshaw operators who want a low-cost, low-maintenance passenger carrier for short daily routes in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and rural areas.
