Triton Ev E-Rickshaw

The Triton Ev E-Rickshaw is a 4-seater passenger e-rickshaw (L3M low-speed category) sold at an entry price of ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It is built on a chassis-with-cabin construction with a fully built body and is aimed at first-mile and last-mile passenger runs in cities and towns.

Body and cabin

The e-rickshaw gets a fully built day cabin, a standard seat layout for the driver plus four passengers, and handle-bar type steering. Chassis is a steel tubular type designed for daily commuter duty.

Electric drivetrain

It is powered by an electric motor rated at 1 hp, mated to an automatic transmission with one forward and one reverse gear. Braking is by drum brakes on all wheels. The claimed range is 150 to 300 km on a full charge, which makes it a practical option for short passenger routes and school/office shuttles.
