Sodyco Xpress Plus

The Sodyco Xpress Plus is a battery-operated e-rickshaw built for short-distance passenger movement in cities and towns across India. It offers a spacious D+4 seater layout, a BLDC motor drivetrain, and a claimed range of up to 120 km on a full charge, making it a practical option for commercial passenger operators.

Passenger Comfort and Layout

The Xpress Plus carries up to four passengers plus the driver in a fully built cabin. It comes with a standard seat layout and a comfortable wheelbase that keeps the ride stable on city roads.

Electric Powertrain

Power comes from a BLDC motor paired with a 130 Ah battery pack running on a 48V system. The powertrain is tuned for low-speed city duty, with a top speed of 30 km/h and a range of up to 120 km per charge.

Charging and Running Costs

The battery takes roughly 8-9 hours to charge fully using a standard home socket charger, keeping overnight charging simple for operators. Low running cost per kilometre makes it an attractive alternative to petrol three-wheelers.

Chassis and Ride

A 3x3 axle configuration with hydraulic front shockers and a rear spring shocker absorb uneven roads. Drum brakes on all wheels and a tight 7.2-metre turning radius help in narrow lanes and dense traffic.
