Sodyco RapidX

The Sodyco RapidX is a fully built electric passenger e-rickshaw designed for dependable city last-mile duty. It is an L3M low-speed passenger carrier with a 3x3 axle layout, seating a driver and up to four passengers, and is available in a single 4 Seater/Electric variant.

Battery and range

Power comes from a 48V, 120Ah battery pack (about 5.76 kWh usable) driving a BLDC motor. Sodyco quotes a range of up to 100 km per charge with a charging time of roughly 8 to 9 hours.

Comfort and ride

The RapidX measures 2740mm long, 995mm wide and 1780mm tall with a 2100mm wheelbase, 180mm of ground clearance and a 5248mm turning radius. Hydraulic front suspension, leaf springs with hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear, drum brakes and a day cabin round out the package.

Who it is for

Priced around ₹92,000 (ex-showroom), the Sodyco RapidX is among the more affordable lithium-ion e-rickshaws, aimed at first-time operators who want a modern battery at a low entry price.
