Sodyco Comet

The Sodyco Comet is a fully built electric passenger rickshaw from the Sodyco range, positioned just above the entry-level Beyond for operators who want a slightly higher gross weight rating.

Battery and Range

A 48 V lead-acid battery pack powers the Comet, which carries a claimed range of about 100 km per charge and a 30 km/h top speed.

Build and Dimensions

The Comet measures 2740 mm long, 995 mm wide and 1780 mm high with 180 mm ground clearance. Telescopic front and leaf-spring rear suspension, drum brakes and 90x90x12 tyres provide the typical low-speed e-rickshaw ride, with a gross weight of 500 kg.

At around Rs 1.35 lakh ex-showroom, the Comet suits operators who need the standard 100 km daily range in a proven, simple-to-maintain lead-acid passenger e-rickshaw.
