The SS runs on an 80 Ah battery pack that charges in 6-8 hours from a standard household outlet. Overnight charging is the practical routine for a commercial passenger driver.

The 1 hp pump-type motor takes the e-rickshaw to a top speed of 25 km/h, the standard limit for low-speed passenger e-rickshaws. Leaf springs front and rear, with drum brakes, keep the ride stable over bumpy city roads.
