Saarthi E Cab

The Saarthi E Cab is a fully built electric 3-wheeler passenger carrier aimed at short-distance urban passenger movement. It runs on a 48V / 135Ah battery pack that delivers up to 70 km of range, and its 1200W BLDC motor gives it a top speed of 25 km/h - right within low-speed passenger vehicle norms.

Performance and Powertrain

At the heart of the E Cab is a 1200W electric motor paired with an automatic transmission and a 1-forward / 1-reverse gearbox. The battery pack is rated at 48V / 135Ah (about 6.48 kWh) and takes roughly 5 hours to charge fully. With a 12% gradeability and drum brakes on all wheels, it is tuned for flat city streets.

Body, Dimensions and Comfort

The E Cab measures 2750 mm long, 970 mm wide and 1750 mm high with a 1980 mm wheelbase and 170 mm ground clearance. It uses a MacPherson strut front suspension with a leaf spring rear setup. The D+4 layout seats four passengers plus the driver, and the digital instrument cluster is standard.
