VariantsThe Saarthak E-Rickshaw is a low-speed passenger carrier built by Saarthak EV, the Delhi-based manufacturer, for the L3M class of Indian three-wheelers. It is a fully built, three-wheeled vehicle with a day cabin, 48 V battery system and BLDC motor, priced from around ₹1.35 Lakh.
Range and charging
Saarthak rates the E-Rickshaw for around 120 km on a full charge. The 48 V lead-acid pack takes 7-8 hours to recharge through the on-board charger that comes with the vehicle.
Performance and comfort
Power comes from a 0.75 kW brushless DC motor producing 30 Nm of torque. Top speed is limited to 25 km/h, and drum brakes at both ends handle stopping. The vehicle has a 2000 mm wheelbase, a 230 mm ground clearance and a 600 kg GVW.
