Range and charging
The Battery Operated Rickshaw is rated for around 100 km on a full charge. The 4.8 kWh lead-acid pack runs at 48 V and takes 8-9 hours to recharge through the on-board charger that comes with the vehicle.
Performance and comfort
Power comes from a 0.75 kW brushless DC motor producing 30 Nm of torque. Top speed is limited to 25 km/h, and drum brakes at both ends handle stopping. The vehicle has a 2000 mm wheelbase, a 230 mm ground clearance and a payload of 390 kg.
