The Mini Metro Gold SS is a 4-passenger (D+4) e-rickshaw built by Mini Metro EV LLP, a Meerut-based manufacturer with a production capacity of over 100 vehicles a day. It is designed for short-haul last-mile passenger movement inside cities and towns, with a lightweight tubular chassis and a low floor for easy boarding.
Motor and Performance
The Gold SS runs on a BLDC motor rated at 1 hp, with a top speed of 22 km/h and a range of about 80 km on a single charge. The automatic drivetrain offers one forward gear and one reverse, making it simple to operate in dense traffic and narrow lanes.
Battery and Charging
Power comes from a 4 kWh, 48V battery pack. A full charge takes roughly 9-10 hours on a standard domestic socket, so overnight charging at home or at a depot fits a daily operating cycle. It is a low-speed L3M passenger carrier that needs no commercial licence plate for most city use.
Body and Ride
The Gold SS measures 2,650 mm long, 970 mm wide and 1,772 mm tall, with a 170 mm ground clearance, a 2,120 mm wheelbase and a kerb weight of 322 kg. Front suspension uses hydraulic shock absorbers with springs and the rear rides on a leaf spring, with mechanical drum brakes and 30x14 inch tyres for a stable, low-maintenance ride.
