The Mahindra Treo Yaari is a low-speed passenger e-rickshaw (L3M category) from Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, built for last-mile passenger transport in Indian cities. It is offered in two body variants - the 4-Seater/SFT and the 4-Seater/HRT.

Battery & Range

A 48V lithium-ion battery with 3.69 kWh capacity delivers a certified range of up to 125 km per charge, with a typical real-world riding range of about 80-85 km. A full charge takes around 2 hours 30 minutes from a standard home socket.

Performance & Build

A 1.95 kW AC induction motor produces 22 Nm of torque for a top speed of 24.5 km/h. The motor is IP67-rated against dust and water ingress, with rust-free modular SMC body panels and a rear crash guard. It offers FNR (forward-neutral-reverse), economy and boost drive modes.

Dimensions & Practicality

The e-rickshaw measures 2769 mm x 995 mm x 1750 mm (L x W x H, 1754 mm on the HRT) on a 2073 mm wheelbase, with 142 mm ground clearance and a 2.9 m turning radius. It seats a driver and up to three passengers, with a GVW of 740 kg.

Ownership & Warranty

Running costs are very low - around 6 paise/km - and the vehicle comes with a 3-year or 40,000 km warranty. An optional telematics system (NEMO) allows remote monitoring of range, speed and location for fleet owners.
