Lohia Narain Xi

The Lohia Narain Xi is an electric L3 auto-rickshaw from Lohia Auto's E-Auto range, built for passenger duties in city traffic. It seats a driver plus four passengers in a fully built body and is governed to 25 km/h as a low-speed L3M carrier.

Battery and performance

The Xi runs on a 51.2V, 105 Ah lithium-ion battery pack (around 5.4 kWh) paired with a 1.4 kW BLDC motor rated at 1200 W. Published range is 80-90 km on a single charge, and the lithium pack charges in 3-4 hours, much quicker than lead-acid rivals.

Body and dimensions

Measuring 2765 mm by 970 mm by 1795 mm with 170 mm of ground clearance, the Xi uses hydraulic telescopic front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension with drum brakes. Kerb weight is a light 296 kg, and it manages a 7% gradeability.

Starting at around 2.15 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Narain Xi is positioned as a premium, lithium-powered e-auto for operators who value faster charging and lighter weight over the lowest possible price.
