Lohia Narain Plus

The Lohia Narain Plus is a feature-loaded electric passenger e-rickshaw from Lohia Auto, positioned above the base Narain with a more powerful motor and a higher GVW of 733 kg. It seats a driver plus four passengers.

Battery and performance

It is powered by a 1.473 kW BLDC motor with a 51.2V battery system in 130 Ah lead-acid or 105 Ah lithium-ion packs (around 6.6 kWh). Published range is 100-120 km, and the governed top speed is 20.75 km/h. Lead-acid packs take 7-8 hours to charge, lithium about 4 hours.

Body and dimensions

The Narain Plus measures 2765 mm in length with a 353 kg kerb weight. Telescopic front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension with drum brakes give a comfortable, low-maintenance ride on city roads.

Buying proposition

Starting at around 1.55 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Narain Plus offers buyers a more powerful motor and higher load capacity than the base Narain, making it a step-up choice for busy passenger routes.
