The Kuku Automotives Battery Operated Tricycle is a 4-seater electric passenger e-rickshaw from Jaipur-based Kuku Automotives. It runs on a 48V battery pack with a brushless DC motor, built for last-mile passenger movement in cities and towns.

Performance and range

The tricycle is a low-speed passenger carrier (L3M) with a governed top speed of 25 km/h. On a full charge it is rated for a range of around 80 km, which covers a full day of intra-city trips. A complete recharge from a household socket takes roughly 7-8 hours.

Comfort and build

The four-seater layout seats a driver plus three passengers, with a 2700 mm wheelbase for stability. The body is fully built with an open cabin and chassis-with-cabin construction, and drum braking is standard for safe city stops.
