Kaptech E-Rickshaw

The Kaptech E-Rickshaw is a low-speed L3M electric passenger rickshaw from Kaptech, built for last-mile shared mobility in Indian cities. It is offered in a single 4 Seater/Electric configuration at a consistent price across the country.

Body and Seating

The E-Rickshaw is a fully built three-wheeler on a chassis-with-cabin layout with a day cabin. It seats the driver plus four passengers, with a kerb weight of 337 kg. At 2720 mm long with a 2100 mm wheelbase, it is compact enough for narrow lanes and market streets.

Electric Powertrain and Battery

A brushless DC (BLDC) motor delivers 1 hp through an automatic gearbox with forward and reverse. The 48V electrical system powers the drive, with a claimed range of 70 to 80 km on a full charge. A full charge takes about 8 to 10 hours from a standard home or shop socket.

Chassis and Ride

Telescopic front shock absorbers with leaf spring rear suspension and drum brakes provide a stable, low-maintenance ride. The 2088 mm turning radius makes it easy to manoeuvre in city traffic, and it rolls on 3 x 75 x 12 tyres at all three wheels.
