A 48V / 120 Ah lithium-ion battery pack (about 5.76 kWh usable) powers the Q8 Plus. The claimed range is 80 to 100 km on a full charge, with a full top-up taking about 6 to 8 hours on a standard home or shop socket, which suits an overnight charging routine.

Motor and Performance

A 1000 W brushless DC motor delivers 1.34 hp to the rear wheels. A differential transmission with forward and reverse gears and drum brakes keep the powertrain simple and cheap to maintain.

Seating and Load

The cabin seats the driver plus four passengers, with a gross vehicle weight of 380 kg. A fully built day-cabin body on a chassis-with-cabin layout, hydraulic front suspension, leaf spring rear suspension and 207 mm ground clearance make it comfortable on uneven city roads. It measures 2606 mm long, 998 mm wide and 1720 mm tall.
