VariantsThe Gopal Auto Motors Electric Rickshaw is a low-speed passenger electric three-wheeler built for last-mile commuter runs in Indian cities. It combines a brushless motor with a 48V battery pack and a four-passenger cabin.
Battery and range
The rickshaw runs on a 48V, 150 Ah battery pack (about 7.2 kWh) that delivers a claimed range of around 110 km on a full charge. Recharging takes about 6 hours from a standard socket.
Motor and performance
A brushless motor rated at 1 hp drives the rear wheel through a differential-type transmission. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h, matching the L3M low-speed passenger carrier class.
Capacity and dimensions
The D+4 layout seats one driver and four passengers. The rickshaw rides on a 2100 mm wheelbase with a 400 kg gross vehicle weight.
Comfort and ride
A chassis-with-cabin body and drum brakes give the rickshaw a stable, safe ride at low speeds, well suited to crowded city streets and short urban routes.
