VariantsThe Gkon Butterfly SS is a passenger e-rickshaw built for city and last-mile passenger transport in India. It seats one driver and four passengers and is powered by a 48V electric drivetrain with a 1000W BLDC motor.
Performance and range
The Butterfly SS offers 100-120 km of range on a full charge at a top speed of 22 km/h, within the L3M low-speed passenger carrier limit. A 20% gradeability rating helps it manage city gradients and ramps.
Battery and charging
A 48V, 100 Ah battery pack (about 4.8 kWh) powers the vehicle and takes 6-8 hours to fully charge, suiting overnight charging for daily commercial use.
Build and comfort
A chassis-with-cabin body with leaf-spring suspension at both ends provides a stable ride on rough roads. Drum brakes, a 3.8 m turning radius and a day cabin with driver information display complete the offering.
