E-Sathi S.S. DLX

The E-Sathi S.S. DLX is a low-speed electric passenger rickshaw aimed at last-mile commuting and commercial passenger runs. It uses a 48V electric drivetrain with a BLDC motor and a D+4 seating layout on a chassis-with-cabin body.

Performance and range

A 1 hp (1200 W) BLDC motor powers the rickshaw through an automatic gearbox with one forward and one reverse gear. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h for the L3M low-speed passenger carrier category. The 130 Ah battery takes 7 to 8 hours to charge fully.

Chassis and comfort

The S.S. DLX rides on three wheels with drum brakes, 43 mm hydraulic front suspension and hydraulic rear units. With an 800 kg gross weight, 200 mm ground clearance and 2800 mm turning radius it is built to handle crowded streets and rough patches. A driver information display, tubeless tyres and handle-bar steering come standard.

Priced from around ₹1.25 lakh, the S.S. DLX sits in the affordable end of the passenger e-rickshaw market, appealing to individual operators and small fleets that need dependable low-cost daily transport.
