E-Sathi M.S.

The E-Sathi M.S. is a low-speed electric passenger rickshaw built for last-mile commuting and passenger transport in cities and towns. It pairs a 48V electric drivetrain with a D+4 seating layout and a chassis-with-cabin body.

Performance and range

A 1 hp brushless DC motor producing 400 Nm of torque drives the rickshaw through an automatic gearbox with one forward and one reverse gear. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h to stay in the L3M low-speed passenger carrier category. The 130 Ah battery takes 7 to 8 hours for a full charge.

Chassis and comfort

The M.S. rides on three wheels with drum brakes, telescopic hydraulic front suspension and leaf-spring rear shockers. A 170 mm ground clearance and 3250 mm turning radius help it handle crowded city streets. It comes with a driver information display, tubeless tyres and handle-bar steering as standard.
