E-Maggic S.S

The E-Maggic S.S is a low-speed electric passenger rickshaw designed for last-mile commuting, market runs and school pickups. It is built around a brushless DC motor and a 48V battery system with a D+4 seating layout for the driver and four passengers.

Performance and range

A 1 hp (1200 W) brushless DC motor drives the rickshaw through an automatic gearbox with one forward and one reverse gear. Top speed is capped at 25 km/h for the L3M low-speed passenger carrier category. The 80 Ah battery gives a claimed range of around 80 km on a full charge, taking 7 to 8 hours to recharge.

Chassis and comfort

The S.S rides on three wheels with mechanical drum brakes and leaf-spring suspension at both ends. With a 717 kg gross weight, 160 mm ground clearance and a 2170 mm wheelbase it stays stable on rough city roads. A driver information display comes standard, and the steering is the handle-bar type.
