VariantsThe Deltic Star Pro is a passenger e-rickshaw from Delta Autocorp Limited (Deltic EV) for last-mile passenger transport in Indian cities. It seats one driver and four passengers with a D+4 layout and runs on a 60V electric powertrain.
Performance and range
The Star Pro delivers up to 125 km of range on a full charge, with a top speed of 24.96 km/h as mandated for L3M low-speed passenger carriers. The 2 hp BLDC motor produces 45 Nm of torque and handles a 10% gradeability.
Battery and charging
A 60V, 110 Ah battery pack (roughly 6.6 kWh) powers the vehicle, recharging in about 4-5 hours with the included charger. The BLDC motor keeps running costs low and maintenance minimal.
Build and comfort
A heavy-duty chassis with a 2790 mm wheelbase, hydraulic telescopic front suspension and leaf-spring rear suspension gives a stable ride. Drum brakes, a 2.32 m turning radius and a day cabin with driver information display round out the package.
