Big Bull B5

The Big Bull B5 is a licensed 4-seater passenger e-rickshaw from Big Bull, priced from ₹1.50 lakh. It is a high-range L3M low-speed passenger carrier built on a chassis-with-cabin body with a day cabin.

Battery, Motor and Range

The B5 runs on a 48 V system with a large 200 Ah battery pack (about 9.6 kWh usable), paired with a BLDC motor delivering 1 hp and 36 Nm of torque. It covers up to 200 km on a full charge and needs 6-7 hours to charge fully.

Dimensions and Ride

It measures 2765 mm long, 995 mm wide and 1780 mm tall, with a 2200 mm wheelbase, 180 mm ground clearance and a 650 kg GVW (400 kg kerb weight). The automatic drivetrain uses a 3x3 axle layout with leaf-spring suspension front and rear, drum brakes and 3.75x12 tyres.

Features

Standard kit includes a digital driver information display and handle-bar steering. Gradeability is 20%, and the larger battery makes the B5 a good fit for operators who want fewer charging stops in a day.
