BHM Safari Deluxe X2 MS

The BHM Safari Deluxe X2 MS is a licensed, battery-operated e-rickshaw built for last-mile passenger transport in Indian cities. It is the mild-steel (MS) body version of the popular Deluxe X2 line from BHM Safari, a Kanpur-based e-rickshaw manufacturer, and is approved for use in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Bihar.

Powertrain and Range

The Deluxe X2 MS is powered by a 1200 W BLDC motor drawing from a 48 V battery pack. A full charge takes about 9 hours and delivers a certified driving range of 80-100 km, making it suitable for a full day of city routes. The L3M low-speed classification keeps the top speed at 25 km/h, which is standard for passenger e-rickshaws.

Body and Comfort

The vehicle seats a driver plus four passengers on a fully-built mild-steel body with a day cabin and an iron roof. It rides on 3.75x12 tubeless tyres with leaf-spring suspension front and rear, and drum brakes for stopping. A digital driver information display is standard.

Colours and Warranty

Available in Blue, Red, Grey, White, Orange and Green metallic paint with an anti-rust body. BHM Safari provides a 12-month warranty on the vehicle. The battery pack of four units is replaceable, keeping replacement costs predictable for commercial operators.
