Bahubali Open Body Loader

The Bahubali Open Body Loader is a cargo-focused e-rickshaw from Bahubali, built for short-haul goods movement in cities. It is an L3M low-speed electric three-wheeler with a deck body on a chassis with cabin.

Powertrain and range

The Loader is powered by a 1500 W motor drawing from a 150Ah battery pack (48V system, about 7.2 kWh), delivering a range of up to 120 km on a full charge. Charging takes 7-10 hours from a standard socket, with battery swap support at local stations.

Body and carrying

The deck body with a day cabin keeps the platform open for cargo. With a kerb weight of 346 kg, heavy-duty leaf spring front suspension and 43 mm hydraulic telescopic rear suspension, it is built for loaded running over rough roads. Drum brakes keep the package simple and serviceable, and the gearbox offers 1 forward plus 1 reverse gear.

The Open Body Loader targets small businesses and couriers moving goods within city limits, offering a low-speed, low-operating-cost alternative to heavier commercial vehicles.
