Badshah Ms

The Badshah Ms is a fully built electric passenger e-rickshaw from Badshah, one of the older names in the Indian e-rickshaw market. It is an L3M low-speed passenger carrier that seats a driver and up to four passengers and is governed to 25 km/h.

Battery and motor

Power comes from a 1000W motor (listed by the maker as the CY GOLD unit) and a 48V, 80Ah lead-acid pack. Full charging takes about 6 to 8 hours. The Ms is tuned for simple, repeatable city routes rather than long hauls.

Chassis and load capacity

The Ms rides on a 2100mm wheelbase with a gross vehicle weight of 1800kg, one of the higher GVW figures in this segment. Leaf spring suspension at both ends and drum brakes keep the running gear conventional and inexpensive to maintain.
