The Ambika GS 8000 is a battery-operated passenger e-rickshaw built for economical daily commuting in Indian cities and towns. It offers D+4 seating, a 120 Ah battery pack and a claimed range of 105 km per charge, with a heavy-duty chassis and drum-plus-disc braking for dependable performance.
Passenger Layout and Comfort
The GS 8000 seats the driver plus up to four passengers on standard seats in a fully built day cabin. Its 1800 mm wheelbase and heavy-duty front shock absorbers keep the ride stable on uneven roads.
Electric Powertrain
A BLDC motor drives the GS 8000 with a claimed range of up to 105 km on a full charge. The automatic transmission with a 1-forward 1-reverse gearbox keeps operation simple.
Charging and Running Costs
The 120 Ah battery takes about 3-6 hours to charge fully using the standard home charger. With a 42 Nm peak torque and a 10 per cent gradeability, it handles city slopes with ease while keeping running costs low.
