The Ak Auto Electrical Divya Rath Passenger E Rickshaw is a budget-focused passenger e-rickshaw built for last-mile city commuting. It is an L3M low-speed electric three-wheeler with a fully built body and a D+4 seating layout that carries one driver and four passengers.
Powertrain and range
The Divya Rath is powered by a 1000 W BLDC motor fed by a 48V, 100Ah lead-acid battery pack. That combination returns up to 100 km on a full charge, with a 5-6 hour charging time from a standard socket. The 1000 W rating keeps it inside the low-speed L3M class with a top speed of about 24 km/h, so no heavy-vehicle licence rules apply.
Body and comfort
The fully built cabin rides on a square tubular pipe chassis with a 2100 mm wheelbase and 120 mm of ground clearance. Hydraulic suspension up front and leaf springs at the rear handle Indian road conditions, while 90-90/12 tyres and a turning radius of 1500 mm make it easy to thread through narrow lanes. The driver gets a digital instrument display and a gearbox with 1 forward plus 1 reverse gear.
Braking and safety
The Divya Rath uses a hydraulic braking system with parking brakes, keeping it simple and serviceable. The Divya Rath is positioned as an affordable daily income earner for city routes, with battery swap support at local stations for longer running hours.
