Aahana SS

The Aahana SS is a fully built electric passenger e-rickshaw positioned as an entry-level, high-value model in the Aahana range. It is an L3M low-speed passenger carrier that seats one driver and up to four passengers, with a governed speed of 25 km/h.

Range and efficiency

The SS is powered by a 1000W DC brushless motor and a 48V, 80Ah lead-acid battery, which delivers an advertised range of about 120 km on a single charge in favourable conditions. Full recharge takes 6 to 8 hours.

Load and structure

With a gross vehicle weight of 1000kg and a 2155mm wheelbase, the SS has a stable, load-friendly chassis. The fully built body with a day cabin, drum brakes and hydraulic spring shockers keeps ownership simple and repair costs low.

Buying proposition

Priced from about 1.20 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Aahana SS is one of the more affordable options in the segment, aimed at operators who run predictable city routes and want a low upfront investment.
