The Yakuza Rubie is a budget, licence-free, RTO-free electric scooter from Yakuza E-Vehicles (Maa Luxmi E-Vehicles Private Limited). Built in Sirsa, Haryana, the Rubie is aimed at city commuters, students and first-time riders who want a low-speed EV for daily urban trips.

Battery & Range

The Rubie uses a lead-acid battery (single unit), offering a claimed range from 45 km up to 85 km per charge depending on the battery variant. A full charge takes 8-10 hours from a home outlet; the scooter has no DC fast charging.

Performance

A 250W BLDC hub motor delivers a 25 km/h top speed, which keeps the Rubie in India's licence-free low-speed segment. It features regenerative braking, reverse gear, hill assist and traction control.
