The Simple Energy Dot One is the entry point to Simple's electric scooter line-up. It offers a certified IDC range of 151 km with a 105 km/h top speed, drawn from a 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and an 8.5 kW (72 Nm) PMSM motor. The scooter weighs 126 kg and sits on a 1,335 mm wheelbase with a 164.5 mm ground clearance.
Features and Connectivity
The Dot One carries a 35-litre under-seat boot and a set of connected features including GPS and navigation, mobile-app connectivity, a digital instrument cluster and a USB charging port. Four ride modes, Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic, tailor the response, and the motor drives through disc brakes at both ends with a combi braking system.
Who should buy it
It is a practical, feature-rich city scooter aimed at younger buyers who want good range and performance without moving up to the more expensive Simple One. It is available in six colours: BrazenX, True Red, Grace White, Light X, Black and Ice Blue.
