Okinawa Ridge 100

The Okinawa Ridge 100 is a premium commuter electric scooter sold in a single variant and three colours, priced at ₹1,14,716 (ex-showroom). It pairs a 3.12 kWh detachable lithium-ion battery with a 1600 W peak BLDC motor, claims 149 km per charge in Eco mode and is offered with smartphone connectivity, GPS and a suite of security features.

Range and charging

The Ridge 100 claims 149 km per charge in Eco mode from its 3.12 kWh lithium-ion battery under ideal test conditions, so real-world range will vary with rider weight, road and traffic. The pack is detachable for charging away from a fixed point and takes 5-6 hours through the micro-charger with auto-cut function.

Performance and safety

A 1600 W peak BLDC motor (IP65 water resistant) drives the Ridge 100 to a top speed of 45 kmph, with a 7-degree grading capability and a 150 kg carrying capacity. Braking is handled by drum brakes front and rear, backed by an E-ABS controller with regenerative energy recovery. A 160 mm ground clearance and 735 mm seat height keep it practical on city roads and accessible for different rider heights.

Features and connectivity

The Ridge 100 comes with central locking with anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, find-my-scooter, geo-fencing, immobilisation, trip tracking and monitoring, plus mobile app connectivity with battery info, speed alerts and a driver score. Equipment includes a digital speedometer, LED headlamp with DRL function, USB mobile charging port, walk assist and 10-inch aluminium alloy wheels with 3.00-10 tubeless tyres.

Warranty and colours

Okinawa backs the Ridge 100 battery with a 3-year warranty and the motor with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. It is available in Blue, Grey and Silver.
