Honda QC3

The Honda QC3 is a family-oriented electric scooter from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), launched on 22 September 2026 at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It sits above the QC1 in Honda's India electric line-up and is the brand's third electric scooter after the Activa e: and QC1. Sales start in five cities, Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam, through select Honda RedWing dealerships, with a phased nationwide rollout to follow.

Price & Variants

The QC3 is sold in a single Standard variant at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings are open on Honda's website and at RedWing dealerships for a token amount of Rs 5,000. That price puts it directly against the TVS iQube 3.1 kWh, Bajaj Chetak C3502, Vida VX2 Plus and Ather Konarc.

Battery & Range

Power comes from a fixed 3 kWh lithium-ion battery with a certified IDC range of 145 km, the longest of any Honda electric scooter in India. A full charge takes about 4 hours, and 0 to 80 percent takes 2 hours 40 minutes. Honda has not yet published the motor output, top speed or kerb weight.

Features & Practicality

The QC3 comes with a 5-inch TFT console running Honda RoadSync connectivity with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts, a smart key for keyless start and a front USB charging port. A 32-litre underseat storage compartment, the largest in Honda's India EV range, adds everyday practicality.

Colours

Honda offers the QC3 in India in four colours: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.

Ride & Braking

Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, with a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear.

Who should buy it

The QC3 is aimed at families and daily city commuters who want Honda's reliability and service network with the longest certified range in the brand's India electric line-up. Its fixed battery means simpler home-socket charging than the swap-based Activa e:, and the 32-litre boot keeps it practical for grocery runs and school drops. Buyers outside the five launch cities will have to wait for the phased rollout, and there is no DC fast charging, so weigh the 4-hour full charge against rivals that offer it.
