For short city and neighbourhood trips the QC1 is genuinely pleasant — the ride is smooth and stable, it is very silent, and the 26-litre under-seat storage swallows a helmet and daily essentials easily. The claimed 80 km IDC range holds up reasonably for local running around, and the light 89.5 kg kerb weight makes it easy to handle. Real-world range drops if you lean on Standard mode, but as a budget commuter for school runs and market trips it does its job.

At around ₹90,000 ex-showroom the QC1 is very competitive on value, and Honda's build quality and service network are a big comfort. The 1.5 kWh fixed battery means you own the pack outright and can charge it at home from a standard 6A socket with the 330W charger, unlike the swap-subscription Activa e:. The LCD console is clean and easy to read and the economy mode helps stretch range. Feature-wise it stays simple — no smartphone connectivity, no reverse mode — which is fine at this price but worth knowing.

Owners praise the smooth, silent ride and Honda reliability, and the 3-year / 50,000 km warranty covers vehicle, battery and charger. The trade-offs are real though: the 50 km/h top speed feels slow in faster traffic, the suspension is on the stiffer side over rough roads, and the 6.5-hour full charge is slow by modern EV standards. A few long-term owners have also flagged battery degradation and lower-than-claimed real-world range, so it is best treated as a pure city commuter rather than a highway or high-mileage daily.
