The Honda QC1 is Honda's affordable entry point into the Indian electric scooter market, launched alongside the Activa e: at Auto Expo 2025. It uses a fixed 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 1.8 kW in-wheel BLDC motor, and is positioned as a simpler, home-chargeable alternative to the battery-swap Activa e: for city and neighbourhood commuting.
Price & Variants
Priced from ₹90,022 (ex-showroom) in a single QC1 STD variant. The QC1 undercuts the Activa e: significantly and targets buyers who want a no-frills electric scooter with fixed-battery ownership rather than a swap subscription.
Battery & Range
A fixed 1.5 kWh Li-ion pack delivers a claimed IDC range of 80 km per charge. Unlike the Activa e:, the battery is non-removable and charges from a standard 6A household socket using a 330W CAN-controlled off-board charger — about 6 hours 50 minutes for 0-100% and 4 hours 30 minutes for 0-80%.
Performance
The 1.8 kW in-wheel motor produces 77 Nm of torque and a 50 km/h top speed in Standard mode, with a 32 km/h Economy mode for stop-and-go city traffic. Honda claims 0-40 km/h in about 9.4 seconds. Two ride modes — Econ and Standard — let riders balance range and response.
Dimensions & Practicality
At 1826 mm long, 701 mm wide and 1129 mm high with a 1275 mm wheelbase and 89.5 kg kerb weight, the QC1 is light and easy to manoeuvre. It offers a class-leading 26-litre under-seat storage plus a 1.45-litre front cubby and a USB-C charging port on the apron.
