The Hero Vida V1 Pro is the flagship trim of Hero MotoCorp's Vida electric scooter line. At Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom), it trades the budget-scooter template for a connected, tech-forward package built around a removable dual battery pack.
Under the seat sits a 3.44 kWh lithium-ion pack split into two removable 1.72 kWh units, feeding a 6.0 kW PMSM motor that pushes the scooter to an 80 km/h top speed and a torque figure of 25 Nm. Hero claims 143 km per charge (IDC); owners realistically see closer to 100 km in Eco mode during dense city riding.
Charging is the compromise that shapes ownership: the home portable charger takes about 5.15 hours to reach 80%, though a fast charger cuts that to just over an hour. Ride modes switch between Eco, Ride and Sport, and the digital console pairs with the Vida app for navigation, geofencing, anti-theft alerts and remote immobilisation.
Combi Brake System with a front disc and rear drum keeps things safe, and Hero backs the package with a 3-year battery warranty (up to 30,000 km).
