Hero Electric Atria

The Hero Electric Atria was a low-speed electric scooter sold in India before Hero Electric's FAME-II wind-down. With a top speed of 25 km/h it was classed as a low-speed, licence-free scooter, aimed at students, senior riders and short neighbourhood trips rather than fast commutes.

Range and charging

Hero claimed 85 km per charge from a 1.54 kWh lithium-ion battery. At 25 km/h, that range claim is more realistic than on faster scooters, since low speed is efficient. A full charge takes around 270 minutes (four and a half hours); fast charging is not part of the package.

Performance and driving

A 250 W motor with a 25 km/h top speed makes the Atria strictly for local use — school runs, market trips and the last mile. Its licence-free low-speed classification is the appeal: no driver's licence or registration is needed in most states, which opens up electric mobility to a much wider set of riders.

Practicality

The Atria was offered as a single variant at ₹0.78 lakh (ex-showroom) in Red and Grey.

Who should buy it

The Hero Electric Atria suited a buyer who wanted electric transport without a licence or highway speeds. It is discontinued now, so shopping new in 2026 means leftover stock or the used market. If your trips are short, slow and close to home, a used Atria still delivers that promise cheaply; anyone needing speed or long range should look elsewhere.
