EVeium COSMO

The EVeium COSMO is a neo-retro styled electric scooter from EVeium, powered by a 2 kW BLDC hub motor paired with a 2.16 kWh Li-ion battery pack. It claims a top speed of 65 km/h and a riding range of 150 km on a single charge, priced at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

A 2 kW BLDC hub motor drives the COSMO to a claimed top speed of 65 km/h with a riding range of 150 km from the 2.16 kWh Li-ion pack, with a full charge taking around 4 hours. It rivals the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube Electric and Okinawa Okhi90.

Ride and braking

The COSMO rides on a telescopic front fork and is anchored by a disc brake up front and a disc brake at the rear, with a 102 kg kerb weight.

Features and connectivity

A digital instrument cluster pairs with mobile app connectivity, and the scooter offers three ride modes (Eco, Normal and Sport), regenerative braking, real-time tracking, geofencing, keyless start, an anti-theft alert and over-speed alerts.

The COSMO is offered in eight colours including Cold Black, Argent Black, Pearl Grey, Hazy Blue, Moonlight White, Satin Red, Minted Green and Auroral Yellow.
