Enigma Crink V1

The Enigma Crink V1 is the entry-level electric scooter in Enigma Automobiles' Crink family, priced at Rs 1,09,764 (ex-showroom), with an ARAI-claimed range of 120 km per charge. It pairs a 2.4 kWh removable Li-ion battery with a BLDC hub motor for a claimed top speed of 60 km/h. Launched in April 2023, it sits below the higher-spec Crink Pro (2.96 kWh, 90 km/h, Rs 1.29 lakh) and above the GT 450 Pro in Enigma's budget-to-mid electric scooter line-up.

Battery and charging

The Crink V1 uses a 2.4 kWh Li-ion battery pack that can be removed from the scooter for convenient charging at home. A full 0-100% charge takes between 5 and 7 hours on the standard charger; the optional 10-amp charger with auto-cut shortens this to around 3.5 hours.

Performance and handling

Enigma quotes up to 9.6 kW of peak power from the motor, which is rated for a 60 km/h top speed. It rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, with a double hydraulic telescopic front fork, hydraulic rear suspension and disc brakes at both ends. The scooter weighs around 68 kg without its battery, keeping it manageable for everyday urban use.

Features and practicality

Standard kit includes full LED lighting with daytime running lamps, a digital instrument console, push-button start, USB charging, motor walking assistance, a side stand sensor and a 22-litre under-seat boot. A single-seat layout and 220 kg load-carrying capacity round out a strong value proposition for solo commuters on a strict budget.
