The EeVe Ahava is an affordable electric scooter from EeVe India, priced at ₹0.62 lakh (ex-showroom). It is aimed at first-time EV buyers, students and short-distance commuters who want a low-cost, low-speed runabout for daily city trips.
Range and charging
EeVe claims a range of 60 km on a single charge from the Ahava's 1.62 kWh battery. That suits short urban commutes rather than long trips. A full charge takes about 6.5 to 7 hours from a standard wall socket, so it is best charged overnight at home. There is no fast-charging support — the Ahava is designed for simple home charging with its lead-acid battery pack.
Performance and practicality
The Ahava is powered by a 250 W BLDC hub motor with a top speed of 25 km/h, putting it in low-speed commuter territory. It is a lightweight scooter at 94 kg kerb weight, with an 1,800 mm length and 1,315 mm wheelbase, which makes it easy to manoeuvre in traffic and park. It rolls on 90/100-10 tubeless tyres, gets a front disc and rear drum brake, and comes with a digital instrument cluster and a connected-car app.
Who should buy it
The Ahava makes sense if your daily run is short and you want one of the most affordable electric scooters in India. With its 25 km/h top speed and 60 km claimed range, it is not meant for highways or fast commutes. It is available now in Red and Blue, and the running cost is a fraction of a petrol scooter's, though EeVe has not published an official per-km figure.
