BattRE Electric Storie

The BattRE Electric Storie is Batt:RE Electric Mobility's retro-styled electric scooter, built around a metal body and a 2.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that drives a 2.4 kW BLDC hub motor. Claimed top speed is 65 km/h with an ARAI-claimed range of up to 103 km on a single charge for the EPIC variant; the STD variant carries an ICAT-certified figure of 132 km.

Charging at home takes about five to five-and-a-half hours on a conventional charger. The Storie gets a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation and ride diagnostics, plus riding modes, a USB charging port, distance-to-empty readout and a low-battery indicator. The motor carries an IP67 waterproofing rating.

Braking is by drum brakes at both ends linked by a Combi Brake System, running on tubeless 3.00-10 tyres mounted on steel wheels. Suspension is a hydraulic fork up front and an adjustable hydraulic coilover at the rear. The scooter measures 1855 mm long with a 1370 mm wheelbase, 200 mm of ground clearance and about 105 kg of kerb weight.

Positioned against the Hero Electric Photon, Okinawa PraisePro and Hero Electric NYX, the Storie was launched at Rs 89,600 ex-showroom and last listed from Rs 99,160. Note that aggregators marked the model discontinued in mid-2026, so availability depends on remaining dealer stock.
